The daily plan
| Time | Step |
|---|---|
| Morning | Shower and shampoo (if needed); dry scalp completely |
| Morning | Apply Minoxidil as labeled; let dry before styling |
| Evening | Second Minoxidil application if your product says twice daily; apply at least 2–4 hours before bed |
| Daily (if prescribed) | Finasteride tablet |
| 2–3x per week | Anti-dandruff shampoo if flakes |
| Monthly | Progress photos |
Styling while using Minoxidil
Let Minoxidil dry before applying gel, wax or clay. Matte products with light hold work well on thinning hair. Avoid heavy, shiny products that clump hairs and expose scalp.
Gym and sweat
Sweat right after application can spread Minoxidil to the forehead. Apply after your workout shower when possible.
